Inagh District Angling club
Held a Fishing Competition on the 24/02/2008
We had a great turnout and everybody enjoyed the day.
Oliver Foudy came first winning the Mike Mcdonagh Memorial Cup
Bernard Olsthoorn came second in senior category
Pat Keating came third in senior category
Our last event was of 2007 was a Fishing Competition
This was held at Cloonmackan Lake
1st prize senior went to Shane Foudy
2nd prize senior went to Brendan Rynne
We had a great night in Rynnes Bar in Inagh and everyone went cracked to a disco
Tommy Fitzgibbons sponsored us a barbecue
A barbecue was staged afterwards in the Biddy Early Brewery
We had a great turnout at the competition followed by a mighty night in the Biddy Early
The Barbaque was sponsored by Bernard Keane while Prizes were sponsored as follows
1st prize - cup sponsored by John o Loughlin Lisdoonvearna, also voucher sponsored by Tierneys bicycle & fishing tackle shop shop in Abbey St Ennis
2nd prize - Fly rod and reel sponsored by Noel Hehir ( Mid west haulage)
3rd prize - A fishing tackle box full of tackle sponsored by Noel Hehir ( Mid west haulage)

Our members showed children how to fish.
All kids caught fish and the day was a great success
This event was staged in conjunction with Shannon Fisheries Awarness week.
We Had a great turnout at the
Fishermans Rising
We appreciate all the support recieved
Over €1000 was raised
All the money will go back into the club.
